WNY StormChasers offers expert weather forecasts, storm tracking, and live storm chasing opportunities. Our dedicated team keeps you informed to stay safe during severe weather events, providing precise updates and real-time reporting for our community. With advancements in technology and forecasting tools, warning lead times remain a problem! Many warnings are posted by what the radar sees, which can and frequently differs from what is occurring on the ground! This is where storm chasers come in and report live conditions on the ground to help enhance warnings. Not only are we reporting live conditions across our media platforms in real-time, but also sending reports directly to NWS including scientific measurements of storms.
In a world filled with many amateur and professional storm chasers, our vision is to stand out as a team dedicated to our communities and provide information on all things weather without drama or! Many people receive their weather information from major TV stations and apps on their phones which also comes with the drama of "News" that many don't care to hear about! (For instance, the famous, being blown off your feet in the wind with two guys in shorts walking by in the background with no problem) Several of our followers testimonials also state we provide more accurate forecasts without the added drama! We want to provide a place where weather enthusiasts and even non-weather enthusiasts can come receive accurate forecasts, see live conditions as well as experience the adrenaline rush and thrilling experience of storm chasing! While we don't offer it much currently, we have and are looking at expanding our storm chasing tours where our followers can join us in the field during severe weather days and see how we chase and get up close to mother nature's furry! We have also done presentations for several local schools where we show a presentation to kids as well as bring our weather instruments to help encourage the next generation of storm chasers!
