How this website handles information. This is our own short notice for the redesigned site — not a copy of the Network Solutions cookie template.
What this site collects
The pages in this redesign are static. They do not run advertising pixels or tracking cookies. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts page views and visits without cookies and without building a profile of you. Visiting a page does not create an account or store a profile of you on our server.
If you use the contact form, your browser opens an email to [email protected] with the name, email, phone, topic, and message you typed. That email is delivered by your own mail app. We use it only to answer you.
The storm report form works the same way: it opens an email to us with the details you typed. If you tap “Use my location,” your browser asks permission and adds your GPS coordinates to that email; nothing is sent until you send the email yourself. Photos are only shared if you attach or share them.
Third parties
Fonts load from Google Fonts. Some atmosphere photos load from Unsplash until they are replaced with our own chase photos. The homepage embeds one YouTube video (privacy-enhanced youtube-nocookie.com player) and a Facebook Page feed, and loads active weather alerts from the National Weather Service (api.weather.gov). The storm reports page shows YouTube thumbnails and plays videos in the youtube-nocookie.com player when you press play. Those services may see your IP address under their own policies. The Facebook embed may set or read cookies when it loads, and Facebook's own terms and privacy policy apply to that content. Social and merch links (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, X, TikTok, Streamlabs) leave this site when you click them.
Cookies
This site does not set its own analytics or marketing cookies. Cloudflare Web Analytics is cookie-free. The embedded Facebook feed may set cookies or use similar technologies.
